Background and Mission

The ADVANCE LIFELONG LEARNING CENTRE (ALLC) is a private limited company registered in Malaysia with the purpose of providing educational and vocational training programs. From a strategic perspective, the mission of ADVANCE is to serve as an ASEAN regional hub for the delivery of high quality tertiary education for individuals, corporations and governments.

Central to achieving this goal is ALLC’s capacity to partner with local and international education institutions willing and able to form mutual recognition and articulation arrangements.  These arrangements include the conducting of Human Resource Development Council (HRDC) approved programs, the Bachelor of Applied Social Science for the Australian College of Applied Psychology (ACAP), Certificate and Diploma for the Institute of Business Administration and Management, and the Chartered Institute of Marketing, among others.

The Centre’s expertise and experience is primarily in the fields of business management, human resource management, agriculture and agro-based training. The programs are designed to add value to students' knowledge and skills and make them highly sought after employees in their designated fields.

ADVANCE LIFELONG LEARNING CENTRE is situated in the Central Business District of Kuala Lumpur, within the Wisma Tun Sambanthan building. The building is the headquarters of the National Land Finance Cooperative Society (NLFCS). The Centre itself currently occupies 20, 000 sq. ft. of office space within Wisma Tun Sambanthan and 88, 000 sq feet (about 2 acres) of plantation land for training of agriculture and agro-based courses.

NLFCS is the oldest cooperative in Malaysia as well as one of the largest. ALLC’s affiliation with NLFCS through WIRA KONSEP SDN BHD (51% owned by ALLC and 49% by NLFCS) means that it has at its disposal the use of various plantations for the purpose of providing agriculture and agro-based training programs, including the AGRITECH SKILLS TRAINING CENTRE for oil palm plantation and mill workers, located in Sungai Siput, 150 KM North of Kuala Lumpur.
